The Scarlet Goddess Ritual Cord was made from triple carded super soft pomegranate red Merino wool, wedding red Sari Silk, dove’s blood mohair, crimson cashmere and ruby tussah silk. At each end of the cord is a charm wrapped in silk thread. One charm is a bee, the other charm is a crown. Perfect for use with Scarlet Goddesses such as Inana, Babalon, Kali Ma, Bridget, Persephone, The Morrigan, Mary Magelene, Hecate and Pomba Gira or becoming more aligned with Scarlet Goddess energy into your own life.

Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic ’til I’m gathered safely in
Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove
Oh let me see your beauty when the witnesses are gone
Let me feel you moving like they do in Babylon
Show me slowly what I only know the limits of
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
– Leonard Cohen, “Dance Me to the End of Love”

Because this is a ritual cord that is intended to be used as part of your practice, it was handspun by me in a trance state, focusing on spinning Red Goddess energy into the ritual cord. If you are not familiar with handspinning, it takes hours and hours to make a single skein of yarn.

These cords were soaked in fresh spring water, dark port, rose water, a carefully selected mix of herbs, scavenged heart shaped deer bones and other flora and fauna. A ritual was conducted to the Scarlet Goddesses to fully imbibe the cords with Their energy.

Working with Scarlet Goddess energy can help you increase your magical ability, improve your personal glamour, draw love to you, draw lust to you, draw sensual experience to you and fully immerse yourself in the business of living life to the fullest..

Each ritual cord is approximately 3 yards (9 feet). The five ritual cords are part of a limited edition working that I did. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

What can I do with a Scarlet Goddess cord?

* Wear it as a lovely eternity scarf, bracelet or in your hair

* Use it in knot spell work

* Use it to adorn your Red Goddess statues

* Wear it when you need a little extra “oomph” for an occasion

* Wrap it around your lunar ritual candle to give it extra power

* Use it to tie a lunar mojo bag closed

* Use it as part of a handfasting

* Sleep with it under your pillow to better soak in the lunar energy

* Use it to demarcate your ritual circle space

* Knit it or crochet it into something that is spiritually meaningful to you

  1. Oh, my dear. I’m not a ritual cord user, not really (and, hey, I can DIY, so…) but oh, my goodness. A bee and a crown? With red? This sounds so like my dancing lady of the sun.
    Wah. 🙂
Nicely done, madame, is what I’m trying to say. 🙂
