[Manic Mondays] The End of the Tour de Fleece!

posted in: almost famous | 0

Yesterday (7/21/13) was the last day of the Tour de Fleece. Beth and I were on Team Nevermore (an “off road” Team) and I’m really glad we joined because it’s become a great little community! I’m really happy that we’re all “staying together” post TdF.

During the Tour, I learned how to corespin better, I learned how to chain ply, I figured out my Jumbo Flyer and I spun every day, even when I had zero desire to do so.

It was a really good experience! I’m so glad I did it and I can’t wait until next year! I might set a specific “sprinter” goal for next year.

In my picture, I also included the yarn I spun for the Solar Spirit Bottles. I filled them with a “snow globe” solution I made myself and I added threads of bells to it as well.
